behavioural-solution-research

Retroactive session capture. Created 2026-08-14 at Talbot’s request, after the fact, because this research ran outside SMTM as an impromptu chat prompt and Herd provides no terminal scrollback. This file is the ongoing communication entry point for the research thread from here.

Talbot’s opening prompt (2026-08-13, verbatim intent): deep research on the USP for myBetterRates as behavioural solutions — solutions to the knowing-doing gap in personal finance, borrowing from other fields (medicine adherence, diet, exercise). Reference the F.A.S.T. Approach. Plan, then execute academic and industry-wide research on strategies that more effectively help people act on effective financial strategies. Stated view: behavioural finance is a growing field but mostly academic, not focused enough on practical solutions. Cited “Save More Tomorrow” as a good example. Asked for dozens of strategies, ranked by lowest-hanging fruit × biggest impact.

Follow-up prompt (2026-08-14) sharpened the target and triggered Round 2:

“Focus on solutions for adults who are healthy and willing (but can still learn from addiction/malady treatments). Borrow ideas that work from other Industries. This is THE USP for mBR. Many provide solutions to the knowledge (literacy) barrier/gap. Big win-win-win opportunity is to be the best at effective (fast, simple, easy) solutions to the behavioural barriers (inertia, laziness, …).”

Deliverables produced: two research reports, both committed, neither touching MBR/Strategy/* — proposed USP revisions sit inside the research docs for Talbot’s decision.

/research skill. Scout agent → 6 angles → 6 parallel Opus specialists → synthesis written in-session (I held the MBR strategy docs; a cold synthesis agent would have lost the cross-walk). Gemini queried live via the skill’s external-AI step as an independent second opinion.

Angles: intervention catalog + replication discount · does financial education change behaviour · health-domain transfer · alert economics · is the consumer-side slot vacant · Canadian switching inertia + EAST/MINDSPACE cross-walk.

Before starting, I read Core-Philosophy.md, Core Value Propositions.md, Key Success Factors.md, Unique Selling Proposition.md so the specialists could be anchored to MBR’s named mechanisms rather than producing a generic lit review.

Premise checks (both requested):

PremiseVerdict
”Save More Tomorrow earned a Nobel prize”False as stated. The Prize goes to people, not programs. Thaler won 2017 for behavioural economics broadly; Benartzi is not a laureate. Safe copy: “…developed by Richard Thaler, who received the 2017 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel for his contributions to behavioural economics."
"Behavioural finance is mostly academic, not practical”False in the plain version, true in the sharpened one. A large, well-funded, RCT-running practitioner industry exists (BIT, ideas42, Irrational Labs, Common Cents Lab, BEworks). But every org whose own primary text was retrievable says it delivers through institutions to those institutions’ populations. The unoccupied slot is consumer-side, cross-institution, agent-of-the-user.

The finding that reordered the USP. Adams, Hunt, Palmer & Zaliauskas (JFE 2021) — 124,000 UK savings-account holders, 5 depositories, run with the FCA — is the closest analogue study to MBR that exists:

  • Average disclosure effect: +0.7pp (8.7% → 9.5%)
  • Arms that personalised the dollar gain and flagged an impending rate decrease: cannot reject zero, irrespective of design
  • Pre-filled “just sign here” return switching form: 3% → 12% (4×)
  • Well-timed reminder around a rate event: +4–5pp

Four independent settings separated showing the number from doing the work, and information lost every time:

SettingInfo-only armDo-the-work arm
FAFSA / H&R Block (QJE)≈ 0, arm dropped from analysis+15.7pp filing; enrolment 34%→42%
FCA cash savings (>130k accounts)switching box +3% internal, 0% external; naming competitors’ rates went negativereturn switching form +9%
Keys/Pope/Pope refi lettersexplicit lifetime + monthly savings: no differencepre-approved zero-cost offer: 13–24% take-up
CARD Act 36-month disclosure+0.5pp on a 5.7% basefee rules: ~$12.6bn/yr

Replication discount. DellaVigna & Linos (Econometrica 2022; 126 trials, >23M participants): 8.7pp in academic journals vs 1.4pp in nudge units, with statistical power explaining the entire gap. Maier et al. (PNAS 2022) bias-corrected the largest nudge meta-analysis from d=0.43 to d=0.04, with evidence against an effect in the “information” and “assistance” categories — and named finance as a domain showing left-truncation most clearly. Planning number: 1–3pp absolute / 5–15% relative for anything communication-only.

Cross-domain reframe. My stated hypothesis (“simplification beats reminders”) was wrong as framed and the correction is better. Reminder devices were null at n=53,480 (REMIND); a phone call that triggers the refill was the largest effect in the JAMA review. The axis that fits every retrieved number:

Does the intervention complete or remove a step, or only raise awareness that the step exists?

EAST vs F.A.S.T. Frictionless→Easy and Simple→Easy both map to sub-principles of one EAST element — half of F.A.S.T. covers a quarter of the evidence base. Biggest gap is not Attractive/Social; it is Defaults, EAST’s highest-effect sub-principle, which MBR structurally cannot use. Adaptive has a genuine claim to advancing EAST’s “Timely”; Tailored mostly duplicates Attractive’s personalisation. Six of nine MINDSPACE levers unused.

BIT’s own 2014 preface is Talbot’s best defence: they moved off MINDSPACE because nine elements were too many to hold in mind, and found “removing even the tiniest amount of friction” outperformed what the literature emphasised. F.A.S.T. independently landed where BIT landed.

The dead twin. Flipper (UK, no custody, £30/yr, fee charged only when it found ≥£50 of savings, zero supplier commission) is MBR’s near-exact structural replica. Closed September 2021. So did the commission-funded competitor, same time, same cause: collapse of price dispersion. The funding model is exonerated; dependence on a spread MBR does not control is what is indicted.

50-strategy catalog · replication-discount rules (0–6) · MBR mechanism cross-walk · EAST/MINDSPACE cross-walk · premise verification · two ranked lists · proposed USP revision · 79 sources tiered Primary/Secondary/Partial/Unverified.

Three of MBR’s nine named mechanisms are currently unevidenced: Guaranteed Benefit, Anti-Pitch, Net Worth Thermometer. Not fatal — but they should be labelled hypotheses in investor material, not sold as levers.

Talbot’s reframe (healthy + willing; borrow from other industries; behavioural not literacy barrier) triggered a second, deeper round: 6 new specialists — intention–action science · switching infrastructure · done-for-you agent businesses · conversion & friction engineering · addiction/treatment transfer · cross-industry wildcard.

The single most important finding in the whole project

Section titled “The single most important finding in the whole project”

The UK ran MBR’s core assumption as a national experiment for 12 years, and it failed.

CASS removed essentially all execution friction from bank switching: guaranteed 7-working-day switch, automatic redirection of every payment for 36 months, auto-closure of the old account, financial guarantee against errors. It works — 99.6% on time, 90% satisfaction, 11.9M switches, 166.8M payments redirected. The FCA then fixed what it had called the residual barrier, awareness, hitting the 75% target on a campaign reaching 98% of the population.

Switches in the year to 30 June 2025: 996,344. Year one: ~1.2 million.

FCA, verbatim: “simplifying and speeding up switching in isolation can only have a limited impact on switching volumes.” Their consumer research names the real barrier: consumers “do not even consider switching… because of the lack of a trigger” — process ranks only second.

The three frictions are not equally binding:

Friction removedNatural experimentResult
Execution (the paperwork)CASS, national, 12 years≈0 net
Comparison (compute your cost vs the best)Kling et al. RCT17% → 28%
Decision (one option, your £, a deadline)Ofgem, 5 replications2.6% → 26.9% (~10×)

Handel (AER 2013) closes off the information theory: of employees whose plan became strictly dominated — worse in every possible state of the world — 89% stayed for a year, 75% for two. Inertia cost: $2,032/employee/year.

This completes Round 1 rather than contradicting it. The pre-filled form that moved switching 3%→12% arrived, unprompted, with one recommendation attached. CASS is friction removal sitting there waiting for you to come get it. Removing friction from a journey nobody starts changes nothing.

The loyalty penalty is not why people overpay. People overpay because nobody executes the renewal on their behalf — and the loyalty penalty is what the incumbent charges for that vacancy.

The FCA proved it by accident: banned price-walking Jan 2022, nearly halved the home differential (£95.38→£49.17), reversed the motor penalty entirely. Switching moved 1pp — and auto-renewal at inception rose 54% → 70%. Delete the economic reason to shop, and more people go on autopilot.

Default power, same products, split only by who must act to continue: motor attrition 33–35% with auto-renewal vs 49–54% without; home 19.6–21.5% vs 32.2–38.5%.

Free money, zero knowledge barrier, willing and eligible people, one small action step (FTC, 149 class actions, §6(b) subpoenaed data):

  • Claim required: median 9% file (weighted mean 4%)
  • Paid automatically: 55% cash — 81/83/75% in the $50–100 / $100–200 / >$200 bands
  • Money at stake: <$10 vs >$200 differ by 1 percentage point
  • Difficulty: hardest-documentation forms −27.3pp but only 5% of sample → “unlikely to be the primary factor”
  • The artifact: notice packet with form ~10% · postcard ~6% · email ~3% · postcard with a detachable form back to ~10%
  • Objections: 0.0003%. Opt-outs 0.01%. 86% of claims approved.

UK dormant assets independently replicate it: £2.16bn transferred, £183.3m ever reclaimed — ~8.5%, despite a permanent free right to your own money.

Not scepticism. Not ineligibility. Inertia.

IRS Direct File 2024, absolute counts published by the IRS:

StageUsersLoss
Created / signed in to an IRS account423,450−37.5%
Submitted a tax return161,042−59.3%

Identity and form-completion, on a free government service with maximal trust, on users already told they qualified. Combined they retain ~25%. MBR faces the same two steps with less trust and a commercial ask. Stage-1 no-KYC MVP is the critical path, not a simplification of the “real” product.

Everyone else tells you what to do. MBR decides, schedules, and fills it in — and does it again next year without being asked.

  1. The decision arrives already made — one option, your dollar figure, an expiry date (Ofgem ~10×)
  2. The paperwork arrives already filled — one signature, one sitting, nothing handed back to finish later (FAFSA +15.7pp; pre-filled form 3%→12%)
  3. The review happens by default — booked to your renewal date, opt-out, with a second ask (defaults 15pp swing; second ask 14% vs 2%)

Messenger identity is worth ~2×. Identical letter, identical offer: supplier-branded 26.9% vs regulator-branded 15.0%; the envelope alone moved it to 18.5%. MBR is neither incumbent nor regulator — the weakest position in that experiment. That is a number, not a hope, and it is the strongest quantitative argument for the partnership in either round.

Savings calculator as the product · a “yes, I’m interested” tap as the alert’s terminus (that is the self-prediction arm: ATT +2.0pp, ns) · conversational persuasion layer (SIPS: 20-min counselling vs a leaflet, OR 0.78, null) · motivational interviewing as core design · stages-of-change segmentation · anything requiring return visits to an app (4.0% median daily open, 3.3% 30-day retention across 93 real apps) · habit/streak mechanics · public pledge features (announcing an identity-relevant intention can reduce action) · confidence-building copy · social-pressure disclosure (highest ROI in the report at ~8pp / $1.93 per vote — and rejected, it generated complaint calls and MBR has no civic mandate).

Flagged in full in the report. Includes MBR’s own internal “60%+ push action rate vs 10% email” — unsourced, uncorroborated, and currently load-bearing on the roadmap.

Living SSOTMBR/Strategy/Behavioural-Solutions.md — synthesis of both reports + Talbot’s Gemini researchsee below

Scale: 12 Opus specialists + 2 Gemini cross-checks, ~190 sources assessed, ~1.2M subagent tokens. Every figure tiered [Primary] / [Secondary] / [Partial] / [Unverified]; nothing cited from model memory.

One specialist hit a session limit mid-write; its completed deliverable was recovered intact from scratchpad. No angle lost.

Both deployed to all five surfaces by the ai-config post-commit hook.

Talbot asked how this quality was possible from an impromptu prompt outside SMTM, and whether graphify was used.

Correction issued: I did not find Talbot’s prior Gemini research. The /research skill has an external-AI step; GEMINI_API_KEY was in the environment, so it called the Gemini API live during this session. What appeared in the reports was generated then, not discovered in the vault.

What actually supplied context:

Decisions only you can make:

  1. Approve or reject the USP restatement. Both rounds deliberately left MBR/Strategy/Unique Selling Proposition.md untouched. Round 1 said reorder the three differentiators (execution to #1); Round 2 said that is necessary but not sufficient — add the default-owning claim. The drafted replacement is in the Playbook under “The USP, restated”.
  2. Decide on Gate 0 — the spread-durability test. Flipper is the precedent, and it is the only finding that can invalidate the business rather than reorder its roadmap. Model the subscription against the narrowest historical Canadian dispersion, not today’s ~274bp.
  3. Decide whether the opt-out annual re-shop becomes the roadmap centre. It is rank 1 of the ship-alone list and converts MBR from an alert product into a default-owning one.
  4. Take the messenger number into the Chilton conversation — 26.9% vs 15.0% on identical content.

Things I can do on your word:

  1. Ship the four zero-cost items (short real deadlines, pre-arrangement framing rewrite, date+time plan capture, loss framing) — all copy or one form field.
  2. Replace the internal “60%+ push vs 10% email” assumption with a measurement, and stand up the instrumented 8-step funnel.
  3. Verify the three open externals before they enter investor material: OSFI straight-switch stress-test change against OSFI primary; open-banking retail-volume threshold; whether MaxMyInterest takes bank compensation.
  4. Promote the durable lessons from these reports into LESSONS.md / Core-Philosophy.md (currently they live only in the research docs).

  • F.A.S.T. SSOT drift/violation

    • See Glossary SSOT, at Core/Misc/Glossary
    • This definition somehow drifted in D:\FSS\KB\MBR\Strategy\Behavioural-Solutions.md, to Fricitionless from Fast
      • current thinking is “quick and easy” as behavioural solution KSFs, thus Fast
      • appears Frictionless came from D:\FSS\KB\MBR_WorkingOn\Tasks\behavioural-solution-research.md (2026AU14)
      • Frictionless is valuable, but not as simple/understandable as Fast (quick)
    • correct this definition in ALL of KB (except archives, as noted, for historical accuracy)
  • Acronym Friction

    • D:\FSS\KB\MBR\Strategy\Behavioural-Solutions.md. This key artifact for the behavioral solutions research efforts, which will be ongoing, uses acronyms and terms that even I am unfamiliar with (FCA, CASS, …). This creates comprehension friction that can be easily eliminated.
    • Solutions
      • ALWAYS: define unfamiliar acronyms and terms at FIRST use.
        • Example: “Defining a Three Letter Acronym (TLA) at FIRST use improves comprehension.”
      • GOOD: All uses of acronyms or unclear terms are links to the definition in a Notes section at the end of the document (eliminating other file dependencies). HTML formats should also include Tooltips.
        • Example
          • A TLA with a link to a definition in the Notes section makes it fast and easy to understand.
          • …
          • Notes
            • TLA: Three Letter Acronym
      • “Unfamiliar” is any term that is not confidently understood by the target audience. If unsure, clarify/define.
    • Add this as a global rule for improved communication (ai-config, AGENTS.md)
      • in all responses where possible (markdown notes/tasks/reports, HTML artifacts, …)
    • Apply this to all behavioural solutions notes/research. Not needed elsewhere for now. Global rule upgrade will address future communications.
  • Address these two issues. Repeat the “Next Steps for Talbot” (to be addressed more efficiently with these corrections).

  • F.A.S.T. drift corrected KB-wide (except archives). SSOT (Core/Misc/Glossary#F.A.S.T.) already said Fast, Adaptive, Simple, Tailored — the drift was everywhere else. Fixed in Core-Philosophy.md, Core Value Propositions.md, Filter+Focus.md (incl. its 2026-04-02 decision-log row), Executive-Summary.md, and this task’s own two research reports (Behavioral-Knowing-Doing-Gap.md, Behavioral-Barriers-Playbook.md) — 15 occurrences total. Behavioural-Solutions.md (the living SSOT) got the fix plus a corrected note explaining the drift traces to this task file’s 2026-08-14 Claude Response. Left untouched (correctly): the frozen archived Gemini file, this task file’s own prior-response history, a KB-OS log describing a past filename, and two unrelated plain-English uses of “frictionless.”
  • Acronym-friction rule added globally. New Hard Rule in ~/ai-config/AGENTS.md (commit d83166e, deployed to all 5 surfaces): define unfamiliar terms at first use; longer documents get a ## Notes section at the end instead of scattering inline definitions. Scoped to new writing going forward, not a retroactive sweep of the whole vault.
  • Rule applied to the three behavioural-solutions documents, per your instruction:
    • Behavioural-Solutions.md — full treatment: every acronym linked at first use to a new ## Notes section (USP, CASS, RCT, Ofgem, FCA, AER, AOR, KYC, Fogg B=MAP, SIPS, OR, ATT, pp, ns, BIT, EAST, MINDSPACE, MVP).
    • Behavioral-Knowing-Doing-Gap.md and Behavioral-Barriers-Playbook.md — additive only, not a body rewrite. Both are marked frozen prior art in Behavioural-Solutions.md’s own Related section, so I appended a ## Notes glossary at the end of each (FCA, CASS, BIT, EAST, MINDSPACE, USP, KYC, RCT, AOR/OR/RR, ATT, SD/CI, pp/ns, journal-name abbreviations, FAFSA, EITC, CARD Act, REMIND, CDIC/FCAC) rather than rewriting ~40 inline occurrences across two 400+ line documents. Their own evidence-tier tags ([Primary], [FR], [UNEV], etc.) already had legends inline — not duplicated.
  • Bumped updated: to 2026-08-15 in Behavioural-Solutions.md frontmatter.
  • Committed all KB edits.

New this session:

  1. Delete or repurpose the two orphaned F.A.S.T..md glossary stub files (see Side finding above) — needs your say-so since I don’t create/delete outside my own scratch files.
    • purge; SSOT for ALL Glossary definitions in KB-OS is D:\FSS\KB\Core\Misc\Glossary.md
  2. Decide whether the two frozen research reports (Behavioral-Knowing-Doing-Gap.md, Behavioral-Barriers-Playbook.md) should get full inline first-use acronym links after all, unfreezing them for that one purpose — I defaulted to Notes-section-only given their frozen-prior-art status.

  • Improve this, round 2, and then again repeat my Next Steps

  • Behavioural-Solutions.md fixed to link every occurrence, not just first use. FCA, CASS, Ofgem, FAFSA, BIT, MINDSPACE were unlinked on repeat mentions (“FCA proved this by accident,” “CASS sat waiting,” “Ofgem’s arm,” “FAFSA assistance,” “where BIT landed,” “the Ofgem recipe”) — all now link. Removed redundant inline expansions that duplicated the Notes entry ([RCT](#notes) (Randomized Controlled Trial) → [RCT](#notes); same for MVP). Added the three missing terms: CM, Hawthorne framing, Flipper — plus FAFSA, which was used but never defined. Notes header reworded to state the every-occurrence policy explicitly, so it’s no longer just “first use.”
  • Both frozen research reports unfrozen for this purpose, per your “yes” on item 9. Added first-use inline links (not every-occurrence — the literal question you answered was “full inline first-use… links”) for FCA, CASS, BIT, MINDSPACE, EAST, USP, RCT, AOR, ATT, KYC, FAFSA, EITC, CARD Act, REMIND, CDIC, FCAC, and the journal-name abbreviations, in both Behavioral-Knowing-Doing-Gap.md and Behavioral-Barriers-Playbook.md. Also caught and fixed a Round-1 error: I’d added AOR/ATT/KYC to that report’s Notes section on my first pass without checking they’re actually used there — they aren’t (only in the Playbook) — removed.
  • Committed both rounds separately (c7e6a8d living SSOT, 2319786 the two reports).

Answering your question — a /frictionless-communication skill?

Section titled “Answering your question — a /frictionless-communication skill?”

Not yet, and here’s the reasoning rather than just a yes/no: the AGENTS.md rule I added last round already states the every-occurrence policy in general terms, and it applied correctly to new writing going forward — the two misses you caught were both in documents I wrote before that rule existed, where I only partially retrofitted it. A slash-command skill only earns its keep if the failure mode is “I forget to check,” not “the rule didn’t exist yet.” One more miss on genuinely new writing (not a retrofit) would be the signal to build it. If you’d rather have the belt-and-suspenders now regardless, say so and I’ll build it — it’s a mechanical audit (extract capitalized tokens, check each has a Notes entry and every body occurrence is linked), well-suited to a deterministic skill rather than judgment-heavy AI work.

  1. Ship the four zero-cost items (short real deadlines, pre-arrangement framing rewrite, date+time plan capture, loss framing) — all copy or one form field.

Carried forward from round 1 of this fix, still open:

  1. Delete or repurpose the two orphaned F.A.S.T..md glossary stub files at Glossary/ and Core/Glossary/ (0-byte, Obsidian’s auto-created unresolved-wikilink targets) — needs your say-so since I don’t delete outside my own scratch files.
    • yes, as answered last round; also responded in terminal

New this round:

  1. Build the /frictionless-communication audit skill now, or wait for one more genuine miss? My recommendation is wait (see above) — but it’s your call, not mine.
    • wait until warranted
  2. Confirm the every-occurrence acronym-linking scope is right — I applied it to Behavioural-Solutions.md (every occurrence) and the two research reports (first-use only, per your literal “yes” to item 9). If you want every-occurrence in the reports too, say so and I’ll do a third pass.
    • yes, every occurence in these 2 reports.

  • address “New this round”. Repeat “Next Steps” (again) to make it easier for my consumption (of reports)

  • Item 9 — stub files deleted. Handled directly in the terminal at your request, outside this file’s flow: Glossary/F.A.S.T..md and Core/Glossary/F.A.S.T..md (both 0-byte) removed, along with their now-empty parent folders. Untracked, so nothing to commit.
  • Item 10 — recorded, no build. You confirmed “wait until warranted” for the /frictionless-communication skill. No action taken; will revisit if a genuine miss recurs on newly-written material.
  • Item 11 — every occurrence, both reports. Wrote a small script to programmatically link every body occurrence of the tracked terms (not just first use) in Behavioral-Knowing-Doing-Gap.md and Behavioral-Barriers-Playbook.md, matching the policy already applied to Behavioural-Solutions.md. Caught and fixed two bugs the bulk pass introduced before committing: it linked “USP” inside both files’ YAML frontmatter tags: arrays (invalid syntax inside a flow list — fixed), and it created three nested links where an acronym appeared inside a citation title’s own link text, e.g. [...( [REMIND](#notes) )](url) (invalid markdown — unwrapped, left as plain text since it’s a paper title, not prose). Verified bracket/paren balance and evidence-tier tags ([Primary], [1RCT], etc.) came through untouched. Updated the “frozen prior art” caveat in both reports to state the every-occurrence scope accurately. Committed in 3 steps: e34a1db (bulk link + bug fixes), 5e65652 (caveat wording).

All items 9–11 from the acronym-friction fix are now closed — nothing left open on that thread unless the reports read wrong to you (they’ve had a heavy edit pass; flag anything that reads broken, since bulk-script edits are exactly the kind of change worth a second look).

  1. Spot-check the two research reports render correctly. Done (self, not Obsidian — see round-4 note below).

No Obsidian/Chrome available in this environment (no sudo to install, no display) — couldn’t literally open the vault or screenshot it. Substitute: rendered both files through a CommonMark+tables engine and audited the HTML output for the exact corruption patterns a bulk regex pass risks (broken tables, nested <a> tags, unbalanced brackets/tags, markdown leaking into code spans).

  • Found and fixed one real bug: the linking script had wrapped RCT inside a backtick-quoted tag example (`[Single RCT]`) in the Round 1 report’s evidence-tiering rule. Code spans are literal text in markdown — the link syntax doesn’t parse there, so it was rendering as raw garbage ([Single [RCT](#notes)]) instead of the intended plain example tag. Reverted to plain text. Commit 620af69.
  • Everything else checked clean: table structure intact (spot-checked the EAST/MINDSPACE cross-walk table cell-by-cell), no nested links, Notes glossaries render as plain bulleted definitions, frontmatter valid, tag balance exact in both files.
  • This was a rendering audit, not a content read — I did not re-verify citations, effect sizes, or claims; only that the markdown structure survived the bulk edit intact.

Next Steps for Talbot — full list, repeated for easier consumption

Decisions only you can make (unresolved since 2026-08-14 — nothing below has changed; repeated per your request):

  1. Approve or reject the USP restatement. Round 1 said reorder the three differentiators (execution to #1); Round 2 said add the default-owning claim. Draft is in the Playbook under “The USP, restated.”

  2. Decide on Gate 0 — the spread-durability test. Flipper is the precedent, and the only finding that can invalidate the business rather than reorder its roadmap. Model the subscription against the narrowest historical Canadian dispersion, not today’s ~274bp.

  3. Decide whether the opt-out annual re-shop becomes the roadmap centre. Rank 1 of the ship-alone list; converts MBR from an alert product into a default-owning one.
